The Rahn Ships
Mothership
Since the korhonen attacked and took over the Rahn homeworld, these ships have
become the home for most of the Rahn. There are 8 of these huge motherships in
existence by the time of 2260. At the time of the korhonen attack on their
homeworld there had been a total of 10 of these ships but two of these ships
have been destroyed by attacks from the Mutants.
Despite the mothership size of 3 miles wing span, 2.5 miles long and roughly 0.5 mile height at the thickest part it does not have great defensive weapons. There are two huge cannons on the mothership which can be destructive but there aren't any other weapons of any note on the ships. The ship can have 3 smaller battleships that can dock onto the back of the mothership through the use of high strength magnetic clamps that hold the ships in place. And this allows quick detachment of the battle ships in an emergency. The mothership has 6 large fighter bays on the front of it with each bay be able to contain 6 Rahn fighterships. Also under the nose is a large docking bay for the likes of repairs to ship, and docking of smaller cargo and transport ships.
Battleship
The Rahn battleships that attach to the back of the mothership are virtually identical
in design to the vastly larger mothership. The only difference apart from the smaller
scale is the that there are no clamps on the back for docking of other ships. Everything
else is of a smaller scale. The Battleships are of the scale 1 mile wide, 0.75 mile length
and 200 meters high.
There are still 6 fighter bays but this time they can only hold one fighter per fighter bay. A smaller scale docking bay under the nose serves the same purpose as for the mothership for repairs of transport ships, etc. And the ship has the same weapons of the two cannons but of a smaller strength but are still considerably powerful and can considerable damage to all but the most powerful ships.
Fighter
Yet again, here is another Rahn ship that is virtually identical in design to the battleship
and mothership. No fighter bays or cargo bay though as it is such a small ship and can only
hold two pilots. The ships yet again has only two frontal cannons that can do minor damage to
larger ships and destroy most ships of the equivalent size. The ship is highly maneuverable
and due to the thinness of the ship can be a hard target to hit without coming at it from an
extreme angle.
Each squadron of 6 fighters have a lead fighter that has a distinctive colour on the backs of the fighter so that the rest of the squadron know which to follow. On the right is one such squadron ship showing of the cannons being used.

Passenger Transport / Cargo Ship This is one of many Rahn passenger transports. The ship can hold approximately 40 passengers (without cargo) and 6 crew but can also be used for holding cargo or a mixture of both. The ship is capable of atmospheric flight so can be landed on a planet's surface via use of it's vertical thrusters and landing gear. This allows goods and people to be picked up from many different planets and spacestations without any problems with needing to transfer to another ship. This ship due to it's smallish size does not have jumpengines although it can travel long distances through use of the many jumpgates. Some Rahn have for their own personal reasons decided not to live on any of their motherships and instead run their own transportation business quite successfully using just one or two of these ships. They only occasionally would visit one of the motherships for business only. Defensively the ships are very poor and can be prone to attack from raider ships. Several of the rahn passenger transport companies either get modifications to the ships for the addition of weapons like small laser cannons which are not that powerful or employ one or two ships from one of the other races to protect their ship on it's journey. |

There are other ships that the Rahn use that include cargo ships,
shuttlecrafts and other such like ships and these will be added in the
future.
